Kea Alpine Parrot- A 12 Inch Paper Pieced Pattern
This pattern is the third pattern available in my series of New Zealand Native Birds.
The Kea is an alpine parrot that lives in New Zealand's Southern Alps. It is a cheeky bird- I hope that this pattern captures some of that personality!
Feel free to interpret the pattern whatever way that you want. I will not be in the least offended if you decide to turn it into a brightly coloured parrot that squawks "Pretty Polly!"
As with all my patterns, this foundation paper pieced pattern contains:
Please note that this pattern is only for the kea, the feathers are not included.
1. written instructions telling you the order to sew the paper pieces together.
2. A pictorial overview of the pattern to help you orientate the pieces
3. Separate pattern pieces which include a 1/4 inch seam allowance.
