Treasure of the Sea- A Foundation Paper Pieced Quilt Pattern

This pattern creates a 50 inch x 50 inch (125cm x 125cm) seahorse quilt. It was formatted for printing on A3 or Ledger (11" x 17") paper, but instructions are included for those who wish to print on A4 or letter paper.

When printed on A4 paper, the pattern will be 35" x 35" (89cm x 89cm).

When printed on letter paper, the pattern will be 33" x 33" (84cm x 84cm).

The pattern contains:
1. Written instructions which include the order in which pattern pieces should be sewn together
2. Colour diagrams
3. Numbered diagrams
4. A Colouring sheet
5. Paper foundations which include a seam allowance.

It is difficult to give exact fabric requirements, as this pattern is ideally suited to use up fabric scaps, but if you choose to use a single colour for the seahorse, you will need approximately 1 yard of fabric. I used a 13 fabric fat quarter bundle for the background.
