Kowhai flowers are an amazing flash of colour in the New Zealand countryside. The stunning yellow flowers are beautiful and were just crying out to be turned into a paper pieced pattern.

There will be more New Zealand plant patterns to follow, so watch this space!

This pattern creates an 8 inch finished block. It includes an overview of the pattern pieces. All pattern pieces include seam allowances and a key is included as to the order in which the paper pieces should be joined together.
