Wise Owl Foundation Paper Pieced Quilt Pattern

This foundation paper pieced owl quilt block creates a 6 x 6 inch finished quilt block.

The pattern contains templates for both a right facing owl and a left facing owl. As such, you can create a matching pair of owls, or if the block is going in a larger project, you can choose the owl that gives best symmetry to the project.

The pattern contains:

1. Pattern templates for a 6x6 inch quilt blocks

2. Written instructions which include printing instructions, fabric requirements and tips on accurately sewing paper templates together.

3. Diagrams which show the order in which to sew the paper templates together.

4. A Colour diagram which help you orientate the pieces.

5. Colouring sheets/numbered diagrams with a key to aid in fabric selection and fabric placement decision making.

6. Separate pattern pieces which include a 1/4 inch seam allowance. Printed in the seam allowance are instructions on how to join the sections together. Also included on the paper templates are symbols to aid in fabric placement and crosses which identify critical joining points and help to sew these together accurately.

As with all of my foundation paper pieced patterns, there are no tricky y-seams to sew.
